The whole idea of this topic came about when I was watching television with some Argentine friends. There was a commercial where people were receiving a package from online and when the box opened there was a big white light and they were so happy and everyone was cheering. So I asked what was the big deal about receiving a package. They then explained to me that foreigners are cold and don’t understand the passion that is involved in life… so that prompted me to want to explore into it a bit more.

In a nutshell, this page has been designed as an independent project for the academic year to focus on the social aspects and interaction of people in Argentina. Also, I will most likely be including observations referring to or relating to my travels throughout other South American countries and cultures. This page is intended to explore, compare, and discuss the various options, locations, social norms, and emotions that the Argentine people experience daily in their interaction with society.
